Alex Pickard is Senior Vice President, Research at Research Affiliates. Alex joined Research Affiliates in 2016 and supports the quantitative and academic research that underpins the firm's investment strategies.

Alex received his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas, Austin, and his Master of Financial Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of CFA Institute and CFA Society Orange County.
