Research Affiliatesis looking for an internal sales associate to provide support to the Distribution team working directly with our external Relationship Managers to coordinate and support their efforts.


  • Support Distribution team to broaden outreach to the Institutional and Advisor markets by identifying and targeting engaged prospects through an email outreach program 
  • Maintain CRM data and initiate new projects for the Distribution team 
  • Liaise between Distribution and IT teams regarding CRM initiatives 
  • Respond to ad-hoc internal and external requests for reports and data utilizing the internal analytics request system 
  • Maintain client and prospect call lists 
  • Run monthly Advisor check in calls and coordinate targeted outreach with the Relationship Managers 
  • Support Partners by generating Monthly, Quarterly and Annual activity and travel reports 
  • Develop new ideas for sales team to increase AUM through targeted proactive outreach campaigns 
  • Review large scale Marketing event attendance lists for appropriate Distribution follow up 
  • Work with Product Management team to coalesce data for appropriate marketing materials 
  • Maintain Investor Support inbox and process Premium User Requests appropriately
  • Support Head of Distribution in drafting Investor Pipeline report 
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned


  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in a finance firm 
  • MBA degree or CFA designation preferred 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in investments, finance, economics or related business discipline is required 
  • Strong technical skills; High proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Professional is required 
  • Understanding of Research Affiliates business model and investment philosophy 
  • Prior experience working with CRM systems
  • Ability to work in a team environment 
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent attention to detail 
  • High degree of professionalism 
  • Ability to handle confidential information

This position is based in our Newport Beach, California office. There will be opportunities for hybrid flexibility for this role. Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 + eligible for a discretionary bonus. Base pay will be determined on an individual basis considering such factors as location, qualifications, skills, and experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
