Content Editor/Investment Writer

DESCRIPTION

This is intended to be a full-time position within Research Affiliates’ Marketing team. In this role, the Content Editor/Investment Writer will be responsible for editing investment articles and research papers produced by the firm’s spokespeople and research team. The individual will also be responsible for drafting articles based on existing research and analytics and taking longer form content, such as journal publications, to create shorter pieces like LinkedIn posts, article summaries and other short-form content for the firm’s website.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content editing, including journal papers, articles, investment commentary, and website content. 
  • Editing the firm’s presentation material and other marketing collateral. 
  • Managing the firm’s publications pipeline. 
  • Drafting content based on existing research, data, and analytics to create impactful research pieces. 
  • Drafting e-mail, social media, and website communications.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 5-10 years’ experience in editing/writing investment-related content.  
  • BA, BS or equivalent education, CFA charter holder preferred. 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. 
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability paired with teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

BENEFITS

This position is based in our Newport Beach, California office. There may be opportunities for hybrid flexibility for this role.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 + eligible for a discretionary bonus. Base pay will be determined on an individual basis considering such factors as location, qualifications, skills, and experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
