Tom Rutherford is Senior Vice President, Investment Systems, Equity Strategies at Research Affiliates. Tom joined Research Affiliates in 2016 and supports internal investment application development, productionizing research models, advancing firm-wide process automation, and implementing core libraries.

Prior to joining Research Affiliates, Tom designed software in the precision agriculture and neural interface device industries.

Tom received his Master of Science in computer science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his Bachelor of Arts and Science in computer science and psychology from the University of Lethbridge.
