Chris Ariza is Partner and Chief Technology Officer at Research Affiliates. Chris joined Research Affiliates in 2012. He oversees the Data Systems, Enterprise Systems, and Information Technology teams, which are responsible for technology and data that support IT groups throughout the firm, as well as enterprise applications, systems integration, and software development. He serves on the firm's Management Committee.

Prior to joining Research Affiliates, Chris was a visiting assistant professor of music at MIT, assistant editor of the Computer Music Journal, and assistant professor of recording arts and music technology at Towson University.

Chris received his Bachelor of Arts in music with honors from Harvard University and a Master of Arts and a PhD in music theory and composition from New York University.
