Alan Lin is Senior Vice President, Head of Data Systems at Research Affiliates. Alan joined Research Affiliates in 2009 and oversees the Data Systems team, which is responsible for managing the financial, market, and reference data that supports investment research, portfolio construction, and product management.

Prior to joining Research Affiliates, Alan was an associate director at First Quadrant.

Alan received his Master of Science in computer engineering from the University of Southern California and his Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude in physics from Ithaca College. Alan holds the CIPM® designation from the CFA Institute.
