Research Associate

Vivek Viswanathan conducts research on potential enhancements to the Research Affiliates Fundamental Index® strategies and products. He also conducts research on currency models and performs equity return and correlation analysis to enhance the performance of the Research Affiliates’ global tactical asset allocation model.

Prior to joining Research Affiliates, Vivek worked at The Centre for Microfinance in India where he researched the suitability of microfinance loan securitization and contributed to the design of an intervention model used to test the efficacy of self-help group meetings to deliver nutritional supplements.

Vivek received a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Chicago and was a member of the University of Chicago Blue Chips Investment Club. He has passed the three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst exams.
