A corporate attorney with more than 20 years of experience, Janine oversees compliance, legal, corporate governance, finance, and administrative issues for Research Affiliates®, its subsidiaries, and affiliated entities. She was formerly corporate counsel to a Fortune 500 international engineering & construction firm and to a foreign-owned pharmaceutical corporation. She was a partner with the highest-rated law firm in Los Angeles and has overseas business experience with a start-up company in Australia.

Janine received her BA from the University of California at Los Angeles and her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Marymount University School of Law in Los Angeles. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the American Corporate Counsel Association. She is admitted to practice law before all federal and state courts in the State of California.
