JASON KUAN
Vice President

Jason is the portfolio manager responsible for the Research Affiliates Defeasement (RAD) and the Research Affiliates Capital (RACLP) fund strategies at Research Affiliates. He is also responsible for exploring and implementing securities lending, managing collateral in enhanced cash strategies, conducting transactions costs analysis, and exploring synthetic exposure and derivative strategies.

Prior to joining Research Affiliates, Jason worked at Société Générale in New York City as a director in the RMBS securitization group where he performed valuation analysis of the firm’s structured product holdings, at Countrywide Financial where he served as a senior analyst in secondary marketing and as vice president in structured finance, and at Barclays Capital where he structured CDOs backed by high-yield bonds.

Jason received his Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the California Institute of Technology and attended Columbia Business School.
