KEITH AMBACHTSHEER
Keith Ambachtsheer founded KPA Advisory Services in 1985, where he serves as President. Through it, he provides strategic advice to a global clientele in person and through the monthly Ambachtsheer Letter. He is the author of three best-selling books, and has been a regular contributor to industry publications since the 1970s. He is Publisher and Editor of the Rotman International Journal of Pension Management. In 1991, Keith co-founded CEM Benchmarking which benchmarks the organizational performance of some 400 major pension funds around the world. More recently, he played a major role in founding the Rotman International Centre for Pension Management at the University of Toronto, where he was appointed Director. He also serves as Adjunct Professor of Finance at the Rotman School. He has won major awards, including the CFA Institute Award for Professional Excellence in 2011 for “exemplary achievement, excellence of practice, and true leadership,” and the EBRI Lillywhite Award in 2010, given in recognition of outstanding lifetime contributions to Americans’ economic security. In 2009, Keith was awarded the James Vertin Award from the Research Foundation of CFA Institutefor his contributions “of enduring value” to investment theory and practice. |
